Message from Head Coach Kevin Thunholm

On behalf of the Libertyville Wildcats Boys Soccer Program, I want to welcome all families to the 2023 soccer season. We are proud of the history the LHS soccer community has built around this program and we will continue to build on it as we move forward. Our season started on June 14th this year with our open summer soccer program. This was followed by our two week summer camp.First and foremost, thank you to all the families that managed through the added time to the program this summer.
We know that family time and school work should always be the first priority, so thank you for allowing your student-athletes to spend additional time preparing for this fall soccer season.
Our #1 goal is to win the State Championship.Our team comes out every day with that in mind.But also equally important is being a respectful and focused player and teammate on and off the field. State Championships cannot be won without those important attributes.Throughout my career as a teacher and coach, that has been the most enjoyable and rewarding part - to guide them to be better students, teammates and friends on the field, in the school and in the community. Again, thank you to all the families for your time and support to the program this season.We are off to a great start! I am proud to be a part of this program and look forward to a successful season.
